The Boulder Mountain Institute (BMI) is a professional mountain guide service located in Boulder, Colorado. We offer a wide array of winter and summer outdoor adventures. Our programs include backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, avalanche education, rock climbing and hiking. We operate in Clear Creek Canyon, the Flatirons of Boulder, and Boulder Canyon, as well as in Rocky Mountain National Park. BMI also hosts extended trips in Alaska, Patagonia and the Canadian Rockies.
Our programs are designed to give clients an adventurous outdoor experience under the guidance of a skilled expert. We emphasize safety, smart decision making and having fun on every trip.

The Boulder Mountain Institute believes in supporting the community. We give back 5% of all profits to local charitable organizations striving to make a difference on humanitarian, social and environmental issues.
